I have continued to work on my Snow Flower Blanket since I last gave you an update in January.
I am not intending to publish the pattern until August and I have someone who has offered to test the pattern for me in the meantime.
However I have taken a few photographs: with difficulty given the recent low light levels.
Here it is laid out on the floor in my bedroom. The light is less good here as the room faces NE but it is the place with the most free floor space.
I also took a photograph of it draped over one of my armchairs in the sitting room. Over Christmas I had taken this photograph of the partially complete blanket. I felt that a cut down version of this would a wonderful photo to use to show off the finished blanket. But although I had originally thought I could finish the blanket by Christmas this clearly wasn’t going to happen.
When I had finished the blanket I tried a quick ‘fake’ version. I am sure I can do a better version but I felt it showed that a fake version would be possible.
I will leave you with one of the better photographs showing the blanket spread out on the settee.
That is great RJ, love the way the colours go.
