My next project is to create a cushion cover with a different Celtic design on each side.

The methods of creating the knots will be taken from my Eternity Knot Blanket and Twofold Celtic Blanket.

I have used a book I was given at the last crochet retreat to draw out the patterns.Since making a Granny Square is something I have done so much lately this is all I need.

I am starting with the knot style from the Eternity Knot Blanket. I am using two round granny squares as I did for my Celtic Topbut this time I am experimenting with adding points and using half and half and three quarter – one quarter squares.

I needed to make these at the beginning, so these are the ones not already used.I have made the first two rows of the cushion cover.This is all made from stash yarn. So I am using lavender for the knot instead of the pale blue in the diagram because when I went to look for pale blue I realised that I didn’t have enough.

I seem to be pretty monogamous when it comes to projects lately, so I expect you will be seeing updates of this for the next few weeks.
