Well I suppose this isn’t full blown macramé but we used macramé cord and macramé is the nearest thing to this.
This week was the turn of the blue bag.
Someone earlier reported a jingle. Well it must have come from this bag.
So here are the contents. We had to thread the cord through the bell, then through one of the beads and then work a sort of blanket stich around the wooden ring. Then we added the last two beads and created a loop to hang it up.I enjoyed making this and I thought I maybe had enough oddments to make another.
The ones with faces are left over from when I made some pipe cleaner dolls with my granddaughter. They seemed the best size.
So I assembled a ring for a curtain pole that had split, a bell from a certain well known Christmas chocolate treat, the beads and some red cotton yarn.Unfortunately when I got as far as the split, that I had hoped to cover, I found that the yarn got caught and so, remembering that I had a few spare rings in a drawer, I found one without a split and removed the metal screw ring.
It was a larger size. But I didn’t think that would matter.
This is a better size for a tree decoration. The other for a more stand alone one.
The only problem I had after that was making a big enough knot after adding the two top beads to hold the beads in place because they have relatively bigger holes.
Here are both decorations together.
Well adapted. I love your smiley beads.

Had it been at another time of the month I could have done a Happy Scrappy Post.
