Monthly / Yearly Montage – Happy New Year

A Happy New Year to All my Followers

Now for a couple of Montages.

I was surprised to see how little I had posted in December and yet not entirely surprised as I have been so tired these last few weeks; still am.

I just shared the last two weeks of the Festive Make and my finished pair of slipper boots. Now here is a retrospective montage of all that I have finished in 2023.

I’ll mention the knitting first. I made two pairs of socks and finished a cardigan that had been waiting to be sewn together for a long, long, time.

As far as crochet went: the year started with a blanket and Winter Garland from patterns by Lucy of Attic24. I then moved on to an unusual cardigan pattern that I thought my granddaughter would like. Her mother liked the style so much that I used some of the left over yarn to make her a similar tank top. In the background I had been working on my next Celtic Knot blanket pattern and a mandala hanging for my bedroom.2023 montageIn the Autumn and early winter, I made a pair of crochet socks from a pattern by Eleonora of Coastal Crochet and a pair of slipper boots from a pattern I had found on Ravelry. My final makes of the year were some Christmas decorations.

For the coming year

There will be some Spring Makes to share in a few weeks time and I should finish the blanket I am working on. I have plans for a cushion cover and a sleeveless jacket type top for myself. After that who knows. There is another pair of socks I haven’t worked on for a while. . . . . . . . . . . .
